 Adria Mobil started building caravans in 1954 in Novo mesto, Slovenia, under the name of Industrija motornih vozil. The first successful caravan was the ADRIA 375, which was built in 1965 and taken to the Stockholm caravan fair. In 1995 Adria Mobil was established as a separate business and they are now one of the largest caravan producers in Europe today.
Adria’s slogan has been “a light and well equipped caravan at a realistic price” since it was first established, and this promise has helped it to become a well known and popular brand all across Europe.
In the UK they sell 3 caravan ranges, which are the Altea, Adora and Astella. Adria claim to have the largest caravan bunk beds on the market.
As well as the 3 caravan ranges they also build motorhomes. The first Adria motorhome was the Adriatik 390 which was constructed on a Renault Traffic chassis in 1994. They currently produce 4 classes of Motorhomes, with 11 different models. At the top of the range is the A Class, along with the Matrix, Low Profile and Overcab.
Awards
In 2010 the Adria Altea 390 DS won the Which Caravan Best Lightweight Caravan award and the Adria Matrix 680 SP won the Family Motorhome award.
In 2013 Adria won BEST MANUFACTURER for Pre-owned Caravans at The Practical Caravan Customer Satisfaction Awards and the Adria Twin SLX won the Best High Top Van Conversion of the Year 2013.

Venture Caravans are the main distributor of Adria Caravans in the UK. Venture also sell Bailey caravans. Venture have been awarded Adria Caravans dealer of the year every year since 2008.
