Available for private sale is our top-of-the-range ABI Windermere (2 bedroom/6 berth) static caravan at Seaview Holiday Park, in Whitstable Kent. Having only just purchased this holiday-home, our elderly Mother was suddenly taken ill and now requires us to urgently come and care for her full time. It is therefore with great regrets that we have to change our plans and sell our lovely new home.

It is sited on the popular Bluewater area of the park with sea views, and is only a short walk or bus ride to the upmarket seaside resort and fishing harbour of Whitstable, and only 7 miles from the world famous cathedral city of Canterbury. The park operates a long 11 month season.

This comfortable home-from-home benefits from double glazing throughout, efficient gas central heating and a private parking space alongside. (awaiting permission to extend, adding a second space)

The south facing decking, fully fenced and lockable, wraps around the side and front of the caravan, both enjoying a sunny outlook all day long as well as sea views from the front decking. There is ample room for outdoor eating and relaxing. You also find multiple outside lighting, ample locked storage space under the decking and a large fixed storage box at the rear of the caravan.

In the roomy lounge area, there are double French doors to the decking, windows to 3 sides making this room bright and airy, a large 6-seater L-shaped sofa with cushions matching the curtains and a pull-out double bed below. A feature fire place with electric heater, perfect for those cool mid-season evenings, a coffee or TV table and more storage and display cabinets complete this very cosy and comfortable room.

The kitchen area includes a dining area with table, 2 oak chairs and an L shaped settee with cushions matching the curtains, a display cabinet with openings to both dining room and lounge sides, a well-equipped kitchen with 4 rings gas hob, gas grill and separate oven below, sink, new built-in fridge-freezer and ample storage cupboards.

From the living area, a corridor leads to a roomy master bedroom including a king size bed with storage box underneath, bedside tables, display and storage cabinets above the headboard, a dressing table with fixed mirror, TV point, a large double wardrobe with drawers, and an en-suite toilet with sink.

The second bedroom includes twin beds with middle beside table, overhead lockers and a large wardrobe with drawers. There is also a shower room with a large shower unit, second toilet and sink.

An efficient and well maintained gas boiler provides hot water and heating, situated in a separate storage cupboard.

Seaview Holiday Park is right next to the beach which also has a seaside promenade. The town centre of Whitstable is 5 minutes away, and there is a regular bus-service outside the park which takes you to local supermarkets. The largest nearby town is Canterbury with a fantastic shopping centre, lots of historic sites, and plenty of bars and restaurants. Among the local attractions are Howletts Zoo, the Whitstable Oyster Festival, Westwood Cross Shopping Centre, Blean Wildlife Park and much more. This part of the Kent coast has been a favourite choice for visitors for many years.

Seaview Holiday Park has a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, an outdoor pool, amusement arcade, sports court, launderette and shop. Most of the caravans are privately owned, especially our area of the park. There is nightly entertainment and regular owner events and kids clubs. It's a well run site and the grounds are well-kept.

Included in the price will be the site fees for the remainder of 2019, as well as new gas & electric safety certificates, and we'll cover the park's private sale charge. We paid 70,000 for the caravan & decking, so believe our price of 55,000 is great value for the new owner. You'll get the remaining 13 years of the original 20 year site licence. We hope someone will quickly fall in love with it, as we did, and will soon be able to enjoy a relaxing time here.
