Private sale Willerby Rio static caravan at Oaklands Holiday Park, St Osyth near Clacton.

The caravan is a Willerby Rio 2010, which has 2 bedrooms (6 berth) and is located on the Lakeside area of the park, and is just five minutes walk from the main facilities. This area of the park is lovely and has a view over the parkís fishing lake. There is parking just outside the caravan, and thereís a patio area laid. The caravan is priced at £18,000 which includes the site fees for 2020, the owner-transfer fee, and new gas & electric safety certificates. The owner paid £25,000 for the caravan last year but has moved abroad and is looking for a quick sale, hence the great price.

Oaklands Holiday Park is an all-owners park with no rental caravans. This makes the park quiet and friendly, and youíll soon make friends among the other owners. Owners tend to be less excitable than short-term holiday makers, and thereís a great community feel. The park runs a long 11.5 month season and only shuts for 2 weeks during February, and is well looked after and has a lovely feel to it. Itís pet friendly, and is located just opposite Martinís Farm Country Park which is great for dog owners.

The caravan is a good size at 35` x 12` and is in excellent condition throughout. It comes with built-in electric heaters in the bedrooms, which makes it perfect for chilly nights. The main living area has a homely feel with recently refurbished upholstery. It has an open-plan layout and is very spacious with high ceiling. The lounge comes with a large corner sofa (with a pull out double bed). There is a gas fire, a large TV unit, and some storage cupboards. The front window allows in the light and gives a view of the lake. The dining area has a built in corner bench and a free standing table and stools.

The kitchen is a galley style a gas cooker & hob, an under-counter fridge, lots of storage cupboards, a microwave shelf, and plenty of plug sockets. The hallway contains a large cupboard which contains the boiler.

The caravan comes with 2 bedrooms, both of which are very large and come with built-in electric heaters. The master bedroom is the full width of the caravan and has loads of room around the bed. Thereís a flip-up storage bed, a large triple wardrobe, overhead cupboards and shelving, and an en-suite toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds, its own wardrobe and overhead storage. Thereís a large space between the beds, so is ideal for bigger kids and adults. The family wash-room is another large room and comes with a double shower, heated towel rail, toilet and sink.

The caravan is in excellent condition throughout and has been re-upholstered at some point. The gas and electrics will be serviced as part of the sale and the safety certificates re-newest. Also included is a metal Asgard storage shed worth £500, the TV, music system, the crockery & cutlery, duvets, plug in radiators and a vacuum cleaner.

Oaklands Holiday Park is in a country setting on the outskirts of St Osyth in Essex. The park has a clubhouse and restaurant with regular entertainment, but is more laid back than the busier holiday parks. Owners also get access to the nearby parks of Seawick and St Osyth Beach, which are a lot livelier and have swimming pools, discos, amusements, etc. If you have family visiting there really is a great choice of things to keep everyone busy. The park is 10 minutes drive from St Osythís pubs and restaurants, and 20 minutes from the larger town of Clacton.
