Fleetwood Caravans Ltd. was founded in 1966. The business was named after the founders US Cadillac Fleetwood car. Fleetwood were based in Hall Street, Long Melford.

In 1987 Fleetwood Caravans Ltd became part of the Swedish based KABE group and was wholly owned by them until 2003 when they sold 50% of their share to the Slovenian company Adria. The remaining 50% share-holding was sold to Adria the following year. They went into administration in January 2009 after operating for over 40 years.

They produced many popular ranges, including the Colchester, Garland, Crystal, Countryside, Heritage, Meridien and Sonata. Fleetwood also owned the Cavalier caravan brand in 1984.

The Fleetwood Heritage is a very popular used caravan with its luxury interiors.

Spare parts are fairly easy to obtain. We recommend O'Leary Motorhomes, who bought the remaining stock from the factory on its closure.
