Knaus Touring Caravans

Knaus Caravans are a German caravan and motorhome builder. Knaus started building caravans in 1961 and have a reputation for building solid and reliable caravans. In 1996 Knaus partnered with Tabbert Industrie to form KnausTabbert, however, Knaus caravans are sold as a separate brand.

Their main caravan ranges are the Sport, Sudwind, Lifestyle and Eurostar. They also build a smaller caravan, the Deseo. The Knaus Sport & Fun is ideal for surfers and kayakers as it provides extra storage on a roof rack built to carry surfboards, canoes and kayaks.

For a while Knaus built the Starclass for UK caravanners. It was distributed out of the Hants and Dorset Caravan Company, which was owned by Discover Leisure and trading as Harringtons. In 2009 Discover Leisure closed most of its outlets, including Harringtons.

The Knaus Owners Club only caters for motorhome owners.
