Bailey Caravans was founded in 1948 in Ashton Vale, Bristol, making them the oldest caravan manufacturer in the UK. Around 1 in 3 caravans sold is made by Baileys. As well as touring caravans they build motorhomes and their Retreat range, which is designed to provide the mobility of a traditional tourer and the interior luxury of a static caravan.

Bailey Caravans are proud of their achievements in the fields of Production Efficiency, Technical Excellence, Design Innovation and Environmental Awareness.

In 2012 Bailey won Practical Motorhome's Best Family Motorhome award for the six-berth Bailey Approach SE760.

On 22nd November 2012 The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Bailey Caravans, toured the factory and were given a test drive in a motorhome. This was a part of the Diamond Jubilee Royal Tour.
