Swivel Double Passenger Seat. All seats have hard wearing protective covers fitted, and the flooring has no carpet, it is a robust wipe down cab floor, it is the perfect vehicle to jump into without worry of making everything messy.
The conversion was done by shelta-campers and the hand craftsmanship is what sets this camper apart. Fully lined, hard-wearing surfaces, with attention to details like mahogany inserts into doors and drawers, which have smooth slide details too. It also fitted with top quality Altro Flooring.
The galley kitchen has had no expense spared with a Waeco Compressor Fridge, Smev Combination Sink and Cooker, Cutlery Drawer, Vented Gas Locker, Water Container, Wardrobe and lots of storage throughout.
The Rock and Roll Bed is fitted with 2x Seat Belts, and the material and foam used are the best quality I’ve seen, they are very very comfortable to sit on, and when sleeping on they are like sleeping on memory foam. There is also ample storage under the bed.
LED Lighting is fitted throughout which makes the most of the proper 110AH Leisure Battery which was tested recently and has a 100% state of health. This is topped up by a large solar panel on the roof and charge controller behind the driver’s seat.
There is a large Flip Down TV/DVD and you can also use a USB drive to watch movies etc
As well as the Leisure Battery System, there is a 240 Mains Hook Up.
The vehicle is Factory Colour Coded and in good condition (there are some age related marks but generally very good for its age), it has a heavy duty Tow Bar with single electrics, Side Bars and the 16″ Alloy Wheels are fitted with brand new All Terrain tyres which are great both on and especially off-road (you don't want slippy tyres on a wet campsite or when wild camping) - there is also a heavy duty roof rack system which can take easily take a large top box (not included) or use as a platform to tie bikes and boxes on to, this is also fitted with some spotlights yet to be wired up.
The owner has purchased a Diesel blown air heater that was going to be fitted for this winter - this is available upon negotiation. ;)
It has Tinted Windows and top quality Van X blackout curtains in the rear. The drivers and passenger windows have tinted wind deflectors, and there are chrome trims on door handles. There is a nice attention to detail without going silly with it.
Remote central locking, and alarm.
This is ready to go but will be valeted – it was washed before I went to take the photos and then the rain came!! Typical... so I it had a quick wipe down which shows in some photos! ?
Why the owner is selling? Believe it or not, it is too posh for me! I bought this because my last camper got stolen and this was a knee jerk purchase. As someone who likes to fish, I cannot bring myself to put my fishing gear in it, so I tend to use my estate car instead, and now with the prospect of 2021 being holiday at home for people it seems a good time to offer it for sale. I understand it is getting more difficult to find a decent campervan without spending £30k+ for a VW - I personally think this is a much better deal all round!
The pictures of the awning are of it setup on my drive without being pegged out which is why it is a bit wrinkly! I also have an option of a larger blue driveaway awning which was left over from my last van...
I'm happy to answer any questions, I am no expert but will do my best. I recently insured it for under £200.00 and the last TAX was £278.25 via direct debit – I get around 30-35 mpg depending on how loaded it is and how fast you want to go on the motorway - if that helps with running costs.
